Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a talented Business Development Representative for our client in Louisville, Kentucky.
This role focuses on formulating, overseeing, and executing business development strategies within a designated territory to increase the number of banks we support. Responsibilities include developing, negotiating, and implementing partnerships and customer relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and secure new business opportunities.
- Develop strategies to form partnerships and business relationships to promote products or services.
- Create and execute channel marketing strategic plans to achieve corporate objectives and enhance market share.
- Work with internal departments and external partners to develop and implement business development strategies, plans, and models.
- Build relationships with industry executives to explain our unique bank technology outfitter model.
- Research and reach out to prospective customers through cold calls, travel, conferences, campaigns, banking news monitoring, and social media.
- Manage relationships with various prospects and partners.
- Forecast demand for proposed projects based on market research and industry trends.
- Lead business development or alliance projects including negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other related tasks.
- Provide input on new product or service features to meet current and future customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients at meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
- Respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Maintain a database of prospective clients.
- Close sales and assist clients through the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with a high school diploma/GED.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial institutions, related industries, or supporting technology.
- Experience in enterprise solution selling.
Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of networking concepts and bank technology.
- Familiarity with solution selling sales concepts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to interact effectively with all levels within financial institutions.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and build consensus within the team to meet prospect needs.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex technology topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to analyze market conditions and competition to adapt business development strategies accordingly.
- Capability to develop innovative approaches and present ideas compellingly.
