BASIC PURPOSE:
Performs functions to process multi-company payroll on a biweekly basis in accordance with Company policy and in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Review and approve the following transactions in Paycom: salary increases, title changes, transfers, promotions, demotions, name and address changes, W-4s, direct deposits, supervisor changes, terminations, etc.
- Prepare, calculate and enter payroll data into HRIS (i.e. retroactive pay, adjustments and bonuses).
- Administer payroll imports such as leasing bonuses, mileage, expense and cell phone reimbursements, merits, EICP bonuses.
- Administer 401(k) program for payroll purposes such as:
- Calculate and process employer contribution match changes
- Administer all 401(k) loans and deferral requests
- Confirm 401(k) deferral files bi-weekly once payroll is processed
- Assist with 401(k) Testing
- Assist with 401(k) Audit
- Assist with 401(k) Annual escalations and tier reset
- Review and submit wage garnishment notifications via HRIS.
- Audit data in timekeeping system (i.e. approvals and sign offs for hours, schedules, Paid Time Off and adjustments) in preparation for the payroll interface.
- Transmit payroll data and when necessary request voids and direct deposit reversals via HRIS.
- Prepare payroll adjustments and corrections including manual checks, reissues and voided checks.
- Confirm 401K deferral file on a bi-weekly basis once payroll is processed.
- Prepare reports for accounting to fund payrolls (including 401(k) funding notifications).
- Assist employees and managers in answering all payroll related questions and troubleshooting as needed.
- Process employment verifications.
- Prepare check request to accounting each pay period to process the wire for funding the HSA accounts.
- Administer payment of Concord Cares compassionate leave and financial assistance request approvals.
- Provide payroll reports for the workers compensation carrier.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience of candidate.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- Associates Business Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to wage and hour, garnishments and taxes preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Product suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet payroll deadlines.
- Minimum three years of experience, preferred five years, working in an automated multi-company payroll environment.
- Prior experience using Paycom HRIS platform is preferred.
Salary : $18 - $19
