Job Overview
Condé Nast is seeking an Account Strategy Executive, who will collaborate and partner with the Sales, Research, Data, Planning and Marketing teams to create new ways of working with our partners to grow revenue for our portfolio of advertising products and services. As an Account Strategy Executive, you play a critical role in a team as the clients’ trusted advisor and champion. Working closely with Sales you will partner to develop, execute and manage complex campaigns in your assigned category. Your deep understanding of your clients’ business objectives and your analytical mindset will shape future strategies through data driven insights and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be at the forefront of supporting the strategic development of Conde Nast sales’ go to market strategy.
- Partner with investment, planning, strategy, creative, and digital leads to assess client goals; and then, develop strategies that help service and deliver upon them by utilizing Conde Nast full portfolio of capabilities and assets
- Lead internal communication with all key Conde Nast stakeholders on client projects, dynamics and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external leaders on RFP strategy and response
- Negotiate deal points, and monitor progress
- Research agency and client information to better understand how to best increase and deepen our relationships, and deliver on their needs
- Serve as internal and external campaign consultant, educating clients and agencies on products, solutions and best practices—ultimately grow existing business partnership
- Own client meetings, including presenting campaign performance analysis, and troubleshooting
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders, fostering regular and impactful engagement for all matters specific to assigned clients, provide problem resolution and escalations
- Work with Category Manager in measuring progress, proactively identifying at risk opportunities, and enacting solutions.
- Maintain deep foundational understanding of our ad products and capabilities (i.e. data, video, social, new products, etc). Partner with related teams (Marketing, Yield/Inventory and Platform Strategy) in all pre-sale efforts
- Partner with Inventory to assess risk and ensure we deliver in full on contracted goals and optimize toward client KPIs
- Participate regular business reviews and take a consultative, long-term approach to build productive relationships with clients, in collaboration with the sales team
- Manage client relationships and client satisfaction, including determining client goals, deliverables, approvals, and asset management in order to achieve best results and campaign success
- Lead campaign kick-offs with clients, and manage all timelines, assets and opportunities for optimization
- Communicate directly with agencies, clients, internal teams and outside vendors as necessary on custom program implementation
- Support and work with the sales team on pre-sale research and pitch
- Contribute to author and analyze wrap reports and identify upsell opportunities from performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 3-5 years advertising sales and/or agency planning/strategy

Base Salary: $90,000 - $125,000
