The Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate with previous experience working within an Higher Education environment with Student visas. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: To provide advice to prospective students related to CAS or the visa process. To check all CAS requests and the corresponding documents thoroughly to ensure that only genuine students who meet the requirements of student visa are issued with a CAS. To work closely with the Admissions Manager to ensure that all CASs are assigned correctly and within agreed deadlines. To track all the pending documents for CAS issuance. This will require communication with all students who have accepted an offer and paid a deposit. Once a CAS is issued, communicate regularly with students to obtain updates on the progress of their student visa application and keep copies of all the student visas granted and keep this progress updated on the CAS Tracker spreadsheet. To notify the Admissions Manager of all students who are "at risk" of failing to meet the CAS issuance requirements. To development and update immigration related information for prospective international students To monitor and evaluate visa student files and undertake regular audit checks to ensure that they meet the UKVI requirements. Take an active role in a UKVI visit and to keep abreast of the UKVI guidance/immigration law in relation to higher education. Work as a Level 1 user on SMS (Sponsor Management System) to issue a CAS and manage sponsorship duties. To be part of the enrolment process and acquire all necessary documents from all students to enable them to enrol on their course and fulfil the UKVI requirements. To monitor and report changes in student circumstances in the SMS. To maintain academic engagement records and other appropriate records, systems and databases relating to student records and follow-up on students that are not meeting the appropriate attendance and engagement levels for all students, not only students on a visa.. To compile reports, annual monitoring and trend-data associated with visa monitoring and other aspects of UKVI compliance. To maintain and update the UKVI compliance information on the college’s website and internal portals. To liaise with staff across the college and internal personnel to ensure relevant and timely information is provided to prospective and current students and the staff who interface with them. To work with the Director of Operations and Admissions team to ensure the College is fully compliant with UKVI sponsorship duties. To liaise with key external stakeholders as required, in particular the UK Visa and Immigration. To also work in other areas of compliance not just related to immigration (Office for Students).
