Immediate openings for a senior level Maintenance Tech at a busy manufacturing company with numerous growth opportunities.

1st Shift: M-F roughly 6AM start

Pay: $33-$36 DOE

Job Description:

• The Facilities Maintenance Tech III will have proven ability to disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment typically found in a manufacturing setting.
• Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.
• Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
• Ability to reassembled equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
• Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
• Proven ability to analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
• Record repairs and maintenance performed.
• Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.
• Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary.
• Ability to demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators as needed.
• The FMT III will enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Adjust or set mechanical controls or components
• Install water or sewer treatment plant equipment
• Lubricate machinery, equipment, or parts
• Maintain or repair industrial equipment/machinery, to include welding machine, tools and small engines
• Perform hydraulic plumbing
• Control HVAC equipment

Skills:

• 7-15 yr. of on the job maintenance/repair experience
• Hands-on fabrication and welding experience.
• Machinist with mechanical and electrical skills
• Knowledge of CAM and CAD software.
• Experience building custom equipment (plus). Knowledge of thermoplastic plastic processing equipment (plus). Comfortable around tools and machinery. Lift, pull and push up to 75 lbs.
