Job Summary:
Our organization, a leader in providing modern entertainment experiences, is seeking a General Manager to lead the local business unit. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing staff, budgets, and day-to-day operations, contributing to the realization of our vision to create a safe and enjoyable space for families of all ages.
Accountabilities:
- Supervise a diverse team of 40-80 staff members
- Formulate strategic goals for business growth
- Manage the recruitment and training process for new employees
- Prepare and submit regular reports to corporate management (e.g., receipts, payouts, P&L)
- Oversee the daily operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Provide effective solutions to various challenges, including profit decline, employee conflicts, and competition-related issues
Principles Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Recruiter to schedule and conduct candidate interviews and orientations
- Oversee the training process for employees at the location
- Train and communicate with Shift Manager positions on a daily basis
- Familiarize yourself with our Embed swiper system and Centeredge POS system
- Address escalated customer complaints, issues, or questions as needed
- Keep employees informed about company culture, standards, and updates, such as sales specials or new job opportunities
- Maintain regular communication with team members
- Cultivate a safety-focused attitude at all times
- Be on call for special projects or holidays

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Minimum age requirement of 21
- Bachelor’s degree in business management is required
- Master’s degree in business administration is preferred
- At least two years of management or supervisory experience
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Capable of working up to 45 hours per week, with availability every weekend
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 39lbs unaided
- Valid driver’s license required
- Authorized to work in the United States

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
