Senior Paralegal

Our company, a leading global organization, is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our trademark and copyright programs across our diverse range of products and services. You will collaborate with various business and legal teams, ensuring the integrity and protection of our intellectual property assets on a global scale.

This role is a hybrid position, requiring at least two days in the office to allow for collaboration amongst teams.

Responsibilities:

• of trademark filings worldwide, including instruction and docketing.
• comprehensive trademark and common law searches, and preparing clearance reports for attorney review.
• with internal teams on trademark clearance, applications, registration maintenance, and usage.
• and review of US trademark prosecution and maintenance filings.
• of trademark registration renewals and related procedures.
• internal guidance on proper trademark usage.
• copyright applications and providing support in enforcement matters.
• with conflict matters, including managing evidence for oppositions, cancellations, and domain disputes.
• product documentation for trademark use and intellectual property notices.
• to process improvements and documentation development.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience as a trademark paralegal with significant responsibilities managing a global trademark portfolio.
• least 1 year of experience supporting trademark activities at a law firm.
• bachelor's degree.
• attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.
• verbal and written communication abilities.
• capability to plan, organize, and work independently while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• understanding of domestic and international trademark law, policies, and processes.
• in MS Office products, especially MS Word and Excel, and familiarity with intellectual property docketing software.
