Our company is currently seeking an Accountant to join our team! As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of complete and accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll entries.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management, providing valuable insights on financial performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax-related documents and liaise with external tax advisors for compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Support external auditors during the annual audit process, providing required financial data and documentation.
- Stay up to date with bookkeeping software and accounting tools.
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting principles, policies, and industry standards to maintain financial integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with administrative staff.
