What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crane Operator position at Confidential?
Qualifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Must be a safe driver with no hit & runs, no DWI or DUI convictions within the last 12 months
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English and if Bi-lingual, it would be a
Must be a minimum 21 years of age
Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S
CDL A or CDL B: 2 years (Required)
Crane Certification: 1 year (Required)
Must be organized and have great follow up skills have a respectful and outgoing personality since you will be dealing with customers and with staff
Responsibilities:
The primary duty of the Crane Operator is to conduct, drive, and master the crane to the fullest and in a safe manner
Safely drive the crane/heavy equipment commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations
Be a leader for job site safety by operating all equipment in accordance with local, state, and federal laws at all times
Perform pre and post trip inspections when needed and when in doubt
Validate and confirm all signed-off , addresses on delivery tickets, make sure customer sign- off all waivers and ensure that routing information is obtained prior to leaving the office or if you get a call from our sales staff or management, and that you have all paperwork and be ready to go to your next location.
Conduct a job site inspection and document any existing damage to lawn, landscaping or driveway, and the location of any power lines, sprinklers, septic tanks, mailboxes, fences, etc before starting and crane service on that property.
Follow all company procedures and rules in accordance with Company Policy
