Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing background, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
Duties
- Oversee the nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensure that all nursing staff are properly trained and certified to perform their duties.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that patient care is meeting the highest standards.
- Develop and manage the nursing budget to ensure that the department operates within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to ensure that patient care is comprehensive and effective.
- Manage the nursing documentation review process to ensure that all patient records are accurate and complete.
- Ensure that the nursing department is in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Develop and implement resident rights policies to ensure that patients are treated with dignity and respect.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure that they are providing high-quality patient care.
- Manage the nursing staff's workload and ensure that there is adequate coverage for all shifts.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred.
- A current RN license and a valid nursing certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a nurse administrator or in a related leadership role.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of nursing administration and the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
- The ability to manage a team and prioritize tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
