SHIFTS: 7a-7p, 10a-7p and rotating weekends.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 18 Years of age or older
- Pass a Criminal Background Check and Finger Printing
- Valid MI driver’s license, reliable transportation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Physical and negative TB test prior to working with residents
- Current and competent in CPR, First Aid
- Organized and Prioritize Tasks
- High level motivational skills
- Responsible/reliable
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to set priorities
- Willingness to be a team player
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work varied shifts and days
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Ensures that the residents’ rights are maintained at all times
- Performs routine charting and recording of activities as assigned
- Remains current in CPR, First Aid
- Must be able to transfer patients
- Assist resident to take prescribed medications as necessary
- Assisting and/or providing care for residents (bathing, dressing, etc.)
- Must be able to effectively handle aggressive resident behavior on a verbal and emotional level
- Assesses emergency situations, takes appropriate action to ensure the safety of residents and staff
- Implement and supervise leisure time activities with individuals and the group
- Treat residents and co-workers with dignity and respect at all times.
- Completes all household tasks as assigned per shift
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
