Job Summary

Emerging leader in the cannabis industries seeks an IT Manager that will be responsible for the inventory, set-up, and maintenance of corporate, retail, and facility IT Hardware/Software. The IT Manager will also provide in-house support to the Thesis Staff and be the main point of contact with our 3rd Party IT Vendor. The IT manager will be accomplished in designing, developing, and delivering cost-effective, high-performance technology solutions that meet crucial technology needs. S/he will partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies to support rapid, sustained, and profitable growth of the business. S/he must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in a collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities

· Oversee all IT operations including staff, infrastructure, security, and software.

· Understand the business strategy, market and IT to create, own and maintain an IT vision and strategy.

· Build and manage a secure and scalable IT infrastructure.

· Establish Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capabilities and plans.

· Manage switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and servers for all locations.

· Develop IT security policies and breach remediation procedures.

· Oversee IT compliance and audit.

· Implement and manage technology budget and performance reports.

· Architected a robust WAN infrastructure for all company locations.

· Interact with other departments to learn about and solve business challenges with IT solutions.

· Manage global infrastructure team and provide front line support for corporate and retail employees

· Significantly harden facilities, endpoints, and network infrastructure with minimal business impact.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks and requirement of client and partner contracts.

· Provide training and mentorship for incoming IT staff.

· Handle all technical ticket escalations from retail and other departments.

· Deploy and Manage Office 365 environment, along with other company software for all employees.

· Vendor negotiations and contracts management.

· Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical issues specific to the Apple and Windows platform, building automation as appropriate.

· Configure accounts and computers for new hires, manages permissions for current staff, terminate account access and manage data of departing staff.

· Demonstrate strong leadership to promote an environment of accountability, collaboration, hard work, and achievement of individual and team goals.

· Bring a different perspective and ideas on how to manage costs, drive revenue and profitability.

· Support company culture as a driver of growth.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree with a business, accounting or finance concentration required.

· 8 years of experience in information technology required.

· 5 years of experience in retail, restaurants and/or hospitality preferrable.

· Microsoft certified professional

· Proven ability to vet and implement systems to automate and optimize operations.

· Due to state regulations, qualified candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.

· Effective relationship-building skills; professional savvy and organizational agility to leverage partnerships both inside and outside the organization to get work done.

· Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and also quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.

· Energetic and infectious leadership in a fast-paced environment, who is also effective as a collaborator and hands-on contributor

· Knowledge of the cannabis, hospitality and restaurant industries is a plus!

· Must demonstrate strong strategic, creative, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

· Able to effectively present to and advocate for ideas with executive team

· Comfort and poise when working with executives

· Have a can-do "make it happen" attitude – you have a bias towards action and results

· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and a passion for business.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities as of now, but possibly in the future.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the corporate office.

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Travel Requirements

Some travel may be expected for this position throughout the region.
