What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Office Assistant position at Confidential?
Mid-Wilshire based Dermatology practice is looking for a dynamic Front Office Associate to support our practice (www.pearlgrimesmd.com).
We are looking for the right Front Office person who is a team player, detailed oriented, and has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position is key to help providing and communicating seamless care between the front and back office. The right person for this position will see what needs to be done and will jump right in to get the job done correctly.
Description of certain duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Heavy phone answering
Scheduling follow up appointments
Patient Check-in/out
Patient scheduling & rescheduling
Maintaining Product Inventory and Vendor Orders
Fulfillment of patient product orders
Act as the Office Building liaison (security, parking, rent) when necessary
Act as an Equipment Vendor/Repair liaison
Assist in Ordering of office supplies
Handle Requests for Rx
Respond to patient messages left for staff or provider
Appointment reminder calls
Patient check-outs, balance collections
Handle requests for medical records, including finding and completing patient charts.
Picking up all telephone messages
Excellent Computer skills are essential.
Candidate should have knowledge of Covid-19 safety protocols.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a busy medical office
Valid proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (including booster shots, when available)
Professional attitude and appearance.
