Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring smooth workflow, and providing support to staff members. The ideal candidate will have a background in medical office management and possess strong skills in budgeting, human resources, and practice management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable/payable
- Coordinate human resources functions such as employee benefits, payroll, and compliance with employment laws
- Maintain office supplies inventory and equipment maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other industry standards
- Manage patient scheduling and appointment coordination
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
Skills:
- Proven experience in medical office management or similar role
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles
- Proficient in using practice management software (eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft)
- Familiarity with human resources practices and employment laws
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
