What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist position at Confidential?
Your role is to provide phlebotomy/service center services in a medical clinic. Under the direction of the area supervisor, the Phlebotomist will perform daily activities accurately and on time while maintaining a safe and professional environment. They will need to perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Professional customer service in a medical service center
· Phlebotomy practices (including pediatric and geriatric)
· Maintain required records and documentation
· Order Entry
· Processing Samples
· Securing payment information when necessary
· Be organized
· Be attentive
· Be dependable (zero-tolerance policy for “no-shows”)
Qualifications:
· Phlebotomy experience (see required experience)
· MAs and CNAs (applications accepted if experience requirement is met)
· Competency in infection control procedures and preventative practices
Required Experience:
· Minimum of one-year continuous phlebotomy experience
Preferred Experience:
· Previous experience in medical services center
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills are imperative
· Ability to accept assignments from service center staff
· Proficient computer and technology skils
· Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
· Process Oriented
· Must have reliable transportation
· Flexibility – assignments each day may be different
· Basic computer skills

Pay: From $225.00 per day
