What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager position at Confidential?
We are looking for a property manager who will also assist in administrative tasks under the company’s executives. Company name will be revealed upon application selected.
Specific Job Tasks include:
Property Management:
- Become the go-to contact for property management and maintenance needs. This will include fielding maintenance requests, problem solving the need, putting in service calls, following up with tenants the issues are resolved.
- Monthly property walk-throughs to evaluate outstanding maintenance needs. All properties are located in Lincoln.
Bookkeeping:
- Organizing and paying bills for 4 accounts.
- Quickbook recording
- Making deposits and organizing rent rosters
- Preparing monthly Profit & Loss Statements
Marketing:
- Make marketing packages
- Update online listings on LoopNet and MRCIE
- Showing space for lease if I’m not available
Odd/Ends:
- Running errands - examples: make keys, help a tenant who is locked out, pick up a package, etc.
- Assiting with occasional personal items for the company executives.
Necessary Skills/Platform Experience:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft excel/word
- Quickbooks, or some sort of strong accounting experience
- Has the ability to proficiently navigate Dropbox and Google Drive. Navigating file exchanges and saving files in the right spots is critical (mac userabilty preferred)
- Canva (can learn if need be)

Schedule and Pay:
This will be a part-time job to begin; however, you will have the space to gain more responsibility and hours depending on how you fit into our company. Simply put, if you prove to be an asset, you will gain responsibility and be compensated accordingly. This could easily turn into a job where you work less than full-time hours but have a full-time salary. You will need be available between 9-5 week days, however your hours can be flexible within this window of time. Our ideal candidate is someone who would take this as their only job unless they choose to work another job after normal business hours. Pay to start at $30/hour.
