Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team in Smyrna, Delaware. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Layout ductwork (weld sheet metal) (MIG & TIG)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and sequence of operations
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together using various welding techniques such as stick welding
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications and codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Welder
- Proficient in fabricating ductwork and other metal structures
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools and being able to read a tape measure
- Knowledge of welding techniques including MIG & TIG welding
- Familiarity with machining processes is a plus
- Ability to signal a crane or rigging equipment is required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
