Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing therapy to individuals, families, and groups struggling with mental health issues and/or substance use disorders. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in developing personalized treatment plans and delivering evidence-based interventions in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in treatment team meetings to review client progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
- Offer psychoeducation to clients and their families to enhance understanding and engagement in the treatment process.
- Ensure all services are delivered in alignment with best practices, and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensed in the state of Idaho as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical setting, preferably with clients experiencing mental health or substance use disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment models such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
