What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse & Assembly Associate position at Confidential?
We are looking for a warehouse worker to perform warehouse operations, material handling and assembly. Warehouse worker responsibilities include handling materials, picking, assembly, packing orders and delivery. Our goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Friendly work environment plus Friday, Saturday & Sunday off!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (assemble, load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Deliver orders and pick-up from local customers (including FedEx and UPS shipping)
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment (forklift, company van)
- Operate material saw, Bridgeport, drill press
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Perform building and grounds maintenance (lawn mowing, snow shoveling / salting, garbage removal)
Skills
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- General math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
- Forklift experience
- High school degree
- Clean driving record
Work hours are Monday -Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. The company offers paid vacation, paid holidays, performance bonus, a work boot allowance, and health insurance.
