What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Clerk position at Conn's Home Plus?
Position Summary:
The Parts Clerk role is to assist with the parts organization and inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Ordering CPU parts
- Coordinating with vendors to return unused parts
- Handling part warranties to avoid penalties
- Assisting in pulling outside tech parts for the next day’s routes
- Organizing spreadsheets to keep track of parts and reports
- Other duties as delegated
Qualifications:
- Moderate to proficient computer skills are required (MS Word and Excel)
- Must have working knowledge of AS400
- Able to identify part numbers and cores
- Capable of ascending/descending flight(s) of stairs without damage to product
- Overall ability to occasionally move/position product weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance
- Must be able to frequently position self to maintain/move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
- Must be able to constantly work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment
- Pass a post-offer, pre-employment background and drug test
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Full time schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, with overtime as needed
