Why You Should Join Us
The Activation Sales Representative (ASR) is responsible for communicating and presenting Connection products and services to existing and prospective customers in the government and education sector, promoting Connection’s unique value proposition, identifying decision-makers, qualifying opportunities, overcoming objections, and coordinating with team members and technology vendors.
This position is 100% remote
Technology
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of CRM’s like Salesforce
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Business
- Capable of building, developing, and maintaining customer relationships
- Generating new leads for the sales teams
- Researching accounts, qualifying leads, identifying key players, and generating interest
- Participating in Connection provided technology training
- Logging sales activities and provide reporting as requested
- Understanding and promoting company programs and initiatives
- Providing management with on time and accurate weekly status reports

Additional preferred competencies or preferred qualifications, if any:
- Previous experience in sales, account management, customer service, account sales is a plus but not mandatory
