Job Description:
The Catering Manager/Office Assistant will be responsible for overseeing all catering operations at Edgewood College. This includes managing the catering staff, coordinating with clients to plan events, and ensuring that all food service is of the highest quality. The Catering Manager/Office Assistant will also be responsible for administrative office duties, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Manage catering staff and oversee all catering operations
- Coordinate with clients to plan events and ensure that all food service is of the highest quality
- Manage administrative office duties, such as answering phones, responding to emails, managing schedules, hiring, data entry, etc
- Ensure that all catering equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure that all catering operations are in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in catering or food service
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software
- Prefer experience in Paycor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
