Job Description:

As the Assistant Manager at Constantine Cattery LLC, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our cattery. You will work closely with the Cattery Manager to ensure the highest standards of care for our cats, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide outstanding customer service to potential pet owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for animals with leadership and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the daily operations of the cattery, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring the health of the cats.

Supervise and train cattery staff, ensuring they adhere to protocols and best practices.

Coordinate with veterinary services to manage the health and wellness programs for all cats.

Maintain accurate records of breeding, health, and sales.

Provide exceptional customer service, including guiding potential pet owners through the adoption process and answering inquiries.

Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the cattery.

Ensure the cattery meets all regulatory requirements and maintains high standards of hygiene and care.

Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in animal care or business management is a plus.

Previous experience in a cattery, animal shelter, or veterinary clinic is highly preferred.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Outstanding communication and customer service skills.

Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office) and animal management software.

Passion for animal welfare and a deep understanding of cat care.

Pay: $18.37 - $22.12 per hour
