Job Title: Project Finance Associate

Company Overview:

My client is an International utility-scale renewable energy developer working across, Storage, Wind and Solar and their focused on delivering clean energy solutions across North America. I'm seeking a talented, motivated, and independent Finance Associate to join their growing team. This position will play a key role in supporting the financial operations and development of large-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage development through execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Modeling Evaluation: Assess and improve financial modeling tools to support the evaluation of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Tax Equity and Incentives: Analyze and apply tax equity structures and federal/state-level tax incentives to optimize project financing.
• Project Assessments: Conduct financial analysis and prepare comprehensive project assessments at various stages of development (early-stage through execution).
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with lenders and tax equity investors to structure financing arrangements and support due diligence.
• Market Research: Monitor trends and regulatory changes impacting tax equity and renewable energy incentives.
• Risk Management: Assist in identifying financial risks and opportunities associated with different project structures and market conditions.
• Reporting: Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal teams and external stakeholders, including senior management and investors.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in finance, ideally within the renewable energy or utility-scale infrastructure sectors.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Location: Must be able to work on-site.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Knowledge of tax equity, tax incentives, and project finance structures.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
