Position Overview:

Position Overview:
The Agency Coordinator serves as the liaison between our client’s partner agents and internal departments. They will work closely with the Director of Agency Support, as well as Agency Advocate Team members, on tasks and special projects as needed, utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with agents and internal departments.
Requirements/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining operations and delivering the highest quality of business-to-business service to our appointed and prospective agency partners
- Effectively handle outbound call or email campaigns and outreach projects as assigned
- Assist with coordinating agency visits and events, including industry trade shows, and events
- Act as backup/additional assistance in Agency Support Team shared inboxes and phone queue
- Communicate company guidelines and policies effectively to agents via multiple channels
- Provide assistance to agents experiencing login issues with our policy management system and/or document portal and respond to any login-related questions, as needed
- Manage and maintain agency information, including (but not limited to):
- Agency administration, such as changes to address, phone number, contact info, etc.
- Monthly agent license appointments with the DFS, including emailing & calling agents, maintaining spreadsheet, and processing any renewals, terminations, and new appointments within the state site
- Agency book of business transfers, including gathering additional information and documentation from the agencies, reviewing paperwork, and setting up new code(s) in our management systems
- Handle appointment process for prospective agents by fielding the intake call or email; explaining our appointment process, expectations, and underwriting guidelines; setting the agency up in our management systems; reviewing paperwork submitted, etc.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and quality assurance testing, working directly and attending calls/meetings with our development team as needed
- Create and maintain department Standard Operating Procedure documentation as needed
- MUST be able to:
- Display strong interpersonal and Customer Service skills, both written and verbal
- Work effectively with minimum supervision
- Interact with people of all types and personalities
- Effectively multitask by prioritizing and assisting with a wide range of duties
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 4-40, 20-44, or 2-20 licensed
- Previous Property & Casualty industry experience, ideally prior agency experience with homeowners and/or flood insurance
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
- Exhibit strong organizational skills with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time and prioritize, while maintaining attention to detail, efficiency, and high customer service standards
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Availability to work extended hours if necessary
