Who You Are:
We are looking forward to hiring a well-spoken and experienced candidate who Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Build applicant pipeline by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
- Provide organizational information, opportunities, and benefits to potential candidates and external partners
- Conduct recruitment presentations and support hiring events and initiatives
- Determine applicant requirements through a comprehensive job analysis for all key positions and understand core competencies
- Attract applicants by creating appealing position descriptions and cascade out to external recruitment partners, job sites, and networks
- Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and completing back-check processes before extending verbal and written offers of employment and following through with initial employee onboarding processes
- Evaluate applicants by discussing position requirements, discussing applicant qualifications, and fit with managers and the HR team
- Improve organizational attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offers, and compensation practices, emphasizing benefits and perks
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training experience in a contact center or at least 2 solid years of working in a call center environment
- Post-secondary experience in Human Resource Management, Employee Relations, or Communications is considered an asset
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous interviewing experience is considered an asset
- Strength-based people and rapport-building skills
- Supports diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Participation in professional organizations and social media channels
- Strong computer and telephony skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Teamwork, etc
- Well-versed in ATS, HRIS, social media channels, and other relevant recruitment and selection platforms
