Job Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Paraplanner at our esteemed financial services firm. As an Entry-Level Paraplanner, you will work closely with experienced financial planners to provide crucial support in client services, financial analysis, and administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing client financial information.
- Prepare financial reports, projections, and analyses to aid in the financial planning process.
- Stay updated on market trends and investment options.
Client Services:
- Interact with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries.
- Support financial planners in preparing for client meetings.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality client service and satisfaction.
Financial Planning Support:
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive financial plans.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of financial strategies.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documents and plans.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain organized client files and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of client communications, presentations, and reports.
- Handle general administrative responsibilities to contribute to office efficiency.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be available at the direction of Management for other duties and responsibilities including various projects.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal with financial advisors, support staff, and Cambridge home office staff in all types of matters including those that may be sensitive.
- Project a professional and pleasant demeanor to work with advisors, utilize tact and diplomacy in dealing with advisors in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to effectively organize, manage, track and complete multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
- Employ good analytical skills to be able to research and resolve problems.
- Work independently under minimal supervision.
- Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Excellent command of graphic design software and firm grasp of proper design/layout.
- Helps set up and improve workflow processes when and where needed
- Richly communicates – asks questions, probes, listens, responds
- Independently balances multiple concurrent assignments with shifting priorities
Education/Previous Experience Requirements:
- (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree from college or university in related field or
- An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by the firm.
Licenses/Certifications:
- (Preferred but not required) Securities Industry Exam (SIE) and/or Series 6/7 or Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) designation

Job Type:
- Part-time with the structure of up to 20 hours a week and the opportunity to become a full-time position.
Compensation
- $20-24/hour based on applicable Experience, Certifications, and/or Qualifications.
