Our Direct Client is looking for a Test Lead with excellent technical and planning skills to join their 100% remote team. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing test plans and cases, executing tests, and analyzing and interpreting test results. They should have a knack for problem solving and be able to find solutions to technical issues quickly and efficiently. A successful Lead Tester should also be an excellent leader and mentor to junior team members.
Responsibilities include:
● Define testing scope, objectives and deliverables and create a detailed plan with clear milestones, tasks, and deliverables
● Review requirements and designs to create test cases.
● Documents the test cases and related procedures.
● Partner with stakeholders in technology, Benefits Administration project and vendor resources to understand the full scope of project
● Collaborates with Process Owners, Product Owners, Process Analysts and Technical Consultants to validate test cases as well as the test outcomes.
● Identify testing resource needs and coordinate/manage availability to plan dates for testing
● Executes tests on manageability, performance, security, upgradability, UX and designed process compliance.
● Analyzes test results and reports them to the Project team
● Identify and track Sev 1 and 2 (showstoppers) open issues and coordinates with Technology to resolve before go live
Skills and Experiences- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or a closely related field.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing processes and methodologies.
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in leading a testing team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in Benefits Admnistration is nice to have.
- Some experience in testing any open enrollment type of activities would be very helpful.
- Workday testing experience highly preferred.
