THE COMPANY
ContiTech, a division of Continental, is one of the world’s leading suppliers of technical elastomer products and is a specialist in plastics technology. ContiTech develops and produces functional parts, components, and systems for machine and plant engineering, mining, the automotive industry, and other important industries. Our Lincoln, NE location is seeking a HR Generalist to join our team.

THE POSITION
- Deploys, implement, and manage HR policies, procedures, standards, and initiatives in an efficient and standardized way for the North American Central HR Organization.
- Assess HR related needs and drafts targeted initiatives that will increase performance, organizational trust, and satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong advocate of company values and principles.
- Focus on implementation and local adaptations considering global, country and Divisions and BUs guidelines to reflect the local priorities defined Central HR Head.
- Ensure a concise practical documentation according to legal regulations, if applicable.
- Support the implementation of improving the effectiveness of the organization in his/her area of responsibility.
- Provide support for Central HR including investigations, driving projects, and other Strategic HR initiatives.
- Position will be based out of Fairlawn, OH or opportunity to sit at another ContiTech location may be considered.

Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or another business-related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years HR professional experience required either as a generalist or in Talent Acquisition/recruiting/staffing.
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Open to mobility and willingness to take on rotational assignments to support development and growth, required.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in MS Office products.
