What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Coordinator position at Continental Engines?
Continental Engines, a local distributor for power equipment and industrial engines, generators, and pumps, is seeking an experienced Service Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering the phones, handling customer requests via phone and scheduling service jobs, billing and contract maintenance.
The successful applicant will be able to:
- Answer and direct phone calls received on several lines
- Back up to customer service, quote and enter orders
- Invoice all shop jobs and projects
- Schedule maintenance and service calls for generator customers using Service Module
- Send invoices out, when customers request by email, mail or fax
- Complete customer paperwork for generator quotes, send to customer and schedule installation
- Keep organized files for generator quotes for installation
- Schedule training and out of town accommodations when needed for service department.
Minimum requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent typing and computer skills, with advance excel experience
- Good organizational skills
- Previous experience with Fieldedge software preferred
