What is it:

Continental Services is looking for a Sales Coordinator for the Forte Belanger Events Team that thrives in a fast paced and collaborative environment. Someone who loves food and the service industry and does not take themselves too seriously! If that is you then let’s talk!

Description:  The Forte Sales Team is responsible for the selling and managing all of the event logistics before the event and is comprised of two roles: Account Managers and Sales Coordinators.  The Account Manager is responsible for selling the event to the client and the Sales Coordinator is responsibility manages the event logistics.  Actual onsite execution is handled by the Team Event Managers.

Duties:

  • Work closely with designated Sales Account Managers to provide administrative support by creating proposals, updating and maintaining event details in catering software and assisting with the maintenance of company CRM
  • Manage event logistics including layouts, timelines, guest lists, dietary restrictions and guest count changes
  • Act as the point of communication between the sales team and other departments to ensure accurate information is released in a timely manner
  • Communicate event details to venues, vendors and clients
  • Submit and maintain rental and outside vendor orders, submit invoices for internal payment when needed
  • Participate in site visits, event tastings, sales calls and event visits when requested by Account Manager

Qualifications


  • Microsoft Suite proficient
  • Caterease Software experience preferred but not necessary; training will be provided
  • Sales Force experience preferred but not necessary; training will be provided
  • 2+ years in the events industry preferred
