In 2022, Continental generated sales of €39.4 billion and currently employs around 200,000 people in 57 countries and markets.*The position will sit at our Tire HQ in Fort Mill, SC.Job DescriptionThe Credit Intern will be responsible for the following:Receipt, processing, tracking, and expediting incoming credit applications and account modification requestsCreate, update, and maintenance of credit filesCommunicate with dealers to obtain delivery receiptsSupport credit investigation efforts through the reports obtained from agencies (i.e. Dun & Bradstreet, NACM, Secretaries of State, and customer phone communications)Collaborate with PLT Sr. Credit Analyst and Credit Manager to manage current standingsAssisting Credit team in preparing in-depth annual credit reviews for PLT portfolioProjects and tasks that serve the department short term needs and long-range goalQualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSCurrently enrolled in a US accredited degree program for at least another 12 months and can dedicate 12 months toward this internshipAble to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higherProficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent time management and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAble to work 25 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunityAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.EEO-Statement: EEO / AA / Disabled / Protected Veteran Employer.
