The ideal candidate has automotive software background either in testing or development.

THE POSITION

Sr. Engineer

• Responsible at SQM software for specific category (e.g. application Software and Engineering Services) worldwide.
• Develop suppliers to the required quality level and perform improvement programs.
• Perform supplier assessments (Automotive SPICE) for software suppliers.
• Active participation on supplier selection and sourcing process (e.g. negotiate software quality contracts).
• Maintain and track target KPIs and goal for quality plan fulfillment (monitor, analysis, control) regarding supplier quality management system.
• Contribute on continuous improvement process and programs of supplier quality-related processes, guidelines and systems of supplier on-site assessments, and benchmarking and best practice sharing programs.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s in Computer science / Business / Engineering, Software (or related) preferably with specialization or related experience in the area of embedded software development
• Minimum 5 years of Automotive Software background either test or development.
• Previous Automotive SPICE experience (training or practical)
• Software Project Management experience and skills
• Experience in software quality assurance activities. Very good understanding of software development lifecycle and development methodologies’ e.g. SAFe Scale Agile Framework.
• Experience in conducting software quality management systems assessments. Process compliance checks and process audits.
• Understanding of quality management systems and maturity models such as Automotive SPICE or CMMI.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of people, including suppliers and customers. Able to lead and manage improvement projects, incl. meetings internally and with suppliers.
• Able to lead/facilitate process improvements and suppliers' development.
• Able to work independently and travel frequently e.g. North America, Asia, & Europe (when able) ~ 30%
