Summary
The Hospice Aide assists the nursing staff in providing nursing care to patients and families.
Educational/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of approved State Hospice Aide course or equivalent (State Tested Nursing Assistant program). Currently on the State Aide Registry in good standing and completion of training/testing which qualifies him/her to do hospice aide work in a Medicare certified hospice.
