Central Supply Manager
We are seeking a professional Central Supply Manager on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) to lead the nursing department of our 120-bed skilled nursing facility with both long-term and sub-acute patients. For this position, you must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills along with the ability to deal effectively with patients, families, physicians, and community resources.
Responsibilities of the Central Supply Manager:
- Ensure all telephone orders are confirmed with a written purchase order and that all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed, and submitted as required in procurement policies and procedures
- Assist in preparing correspondence and claims concerning damaged merchandise, errors in shipment, etc. and return to vendor, as required
- Ensure various departments are properly charged with supplies they have received for cost allocation purposes
- Check invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, etc., with incoming merchandise
- Review resident records to ensure services rendered and supplies being billed are appropriate
- Ensure inventory is updated as required when receiving and issuing supplies and equipment
- Must adhere to all HIPAA requirements and ensure storage instructions are followed
Qualifications of the Central Supply Manager:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and experience in order
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
- Long-Term care experience
Salary : $32,200 - $40,800
