What are the responsibilities and job description for the Badging Manager position at Control Risks?
Control Risks is looking to hire a Badging Manager to support our client’s Security program. This position will be responsible for overseeing the operation, fabrication, and issuance of client badge transactions. In addition to overseeing the badging process, this position will work closely with the company’s security team to ensure all security desks are manned properly and ensure site security for the client.
Responsibilities
- Oversee badging requisitions and manage all badging requests from uncleared visitor(s) and/or workers.
- Perform access control procedures, to include use of information data base and all associated control processes.
- Maintain the client’s visitor management systems as well as their access control systems.
- Regularly work with onsite security personnel to ensure properly manned security stations and a secure site.
- Coordinate and maintain daily logs of visitors.
- Assist with visualizations for workflows and SOPs for corporate Security.
- Demonstrate superior customer service.
- Ensure that registrants are processed in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or as may be established by supervisors.
- Recover ID credentials from personnel upon termination of employment or as directed.
- Provide maintenance on badging during the off period.
- Ability to work with the client’s director of security and security program managers to oversee the growth of the onsite security program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 2 years of experience in badging operations or corporate security.
- Experience with access control systems required. Experience with Brivo a plus
- Experience with visitor management systems (i.e., Eden) required
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude.
- Familiarity with Lucidcharts and Slack is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Product Office Suite is a plus.
