As Business Development Manager for CGI, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding current clients relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Actively identify new business opportunities, securing temporary or project based contracts
- Locate key decision makers within corporations, developing new client business through the following methods:
- Calling on clients in the database, reactivating and growing existing accounts
- Follow up on leads identified through sources such as Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
- Actively market qualified candidates to decision makers
- Follow up on referrals from current clients
- Provide account management and customer service to promote second sale opportunities
- Negotiate contracts, placement rates, and conversion fees
- Obtain job descriptions, submit candidate profiles, and match candidates to job orders
- Provide client follow up to ensure filled order satisfaction and identify future needs
- Develop industry knowledge of salary ranges for active positions and company sizes
- Actively research the employment market economic, social, sports etc.
- Collaborate during team meetings and discussions, prepared to discuss active pipeline
- Attend industry network events, representing CGI as a market leader
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Proven track record of success in sales, customer-service, hospitality, or recruiting
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, including high proficiency in all MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong computer skills and ability to leverage software: Winsearch, LinkedIn, Indeed, Salesforce, GSuite
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining a positive attitude
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions
- Demonstrate strong relationship building with both internal and external stakeholders
- Positive and relentless attitude, with the ability to overcome objections
- Ability to think critically, in order to develop the best strategy
- High level of integrity, self-confident with an history of producing results
- Ability to demonstrate independent thinking as well as a teamwork approach to job responsibilities
- Strong desire to excel in a sales driven environment, setting and achieving goals
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- GED or high school diploma
- 3 years of sales experience in a similar role
- Previous staffing sales experience preferred
