Intro: At Conway Dressings, we’ve been owned and operated by the same family since 1876. Conway crafts the highest quality salad dressings, sauces, and mayonnaise, for a nationwide network of hotels, clubs, restaurants, national chains, airlines, cruise ships, etc. We are seeking an experienced Foodservice Sales Professional to manage, develop, and grow Conway’s branded and custom recipe business in the Southern region of the United States.
Title: Regional Sales Manager (RSM) reports directly to the National Sales Manager (NSM), through to Vice President of Sales and Marketing (VPSM)
Region: Arizona, California
Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive, it may be expanded or altered as needed.
· The RSM will meet or exceed the annual sales quota established by the NSM in a given sales territory (Region).
· Develop and execute business strategies to establish and grow Conway Dressing Branded and Custom Recipe business within their established Region.
· Establish and foster relationships with Distributor Sales and Merchandising Personnel (DSR’s, Senior Sales, Purchasing, etc.), Local/Regional/National Chain Accounts, Large Leveraged Operators, etc.
· RSM will implement effective short and long-term growth strategies to meet sales quotas.
· RSM will work closely with established and new customers to build strong relationships.
· RSM will monitor A/R and assist as needed.
· RSM will plan and attend local and national trade shows as needed.
· RSM will negotiate and implement marketing programs within NSM guidelines.
· Ability to travel approximately 60%.
· RSM will manage a sales travel and expense budget.
· All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· 5 years of outside sales experience in a Foodservice Regional Sales role.
- Experience working with foodservice distributors and developing sales strategies preferred.
· Prior professional kitchen experience, restaurant management, or other culinary experience beneficial.
- Proven track record of leveraging relationships, negotiating, providing solutions, and achieving business goals.
· Must have outstanding presentation, communication, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to write professional and impactful proposals, correspondence, and emails.
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM programs, etc.
- Ability to plan, work, and maintain a flexible travel schedule to meet customer needs and expectations.
- Must have a valid US driver’s license.
