What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC/R Technician position at Cook Out?
Cook Out Restaurants is seeking an experienced HVAC and commercial refrigeration technician to join our elite Maintenance team. Our techs repair and maintain AC units, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, modular restaurant refrigeration equipment, ice machines, and reach-in coolers. In addition, our techs handle general maintenance plus they are taught to repair/maintain the kitchen’s “hot side.”
Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license for at least three years with no major traffic violations or accidents within the past 3-5 years, (term related to occurrence). Minor violations shall be evaluated on a case by case bases
- Minimum two years relevant work experience with refrigeration (coolers, and freezers)
- Posses tools/instruments required for refrigeration work
- Available to take call-outs/work every other weekend (Bonuses earned)
- Have reliable transportation to your home restaurant where your work van is parked. Van may be taken home when on call on the weekend
- Pass DOT drug test
- No criminal convictions within the past 10 years
Responsibilities:
- Serve multiple locations to provide a safe, clean, and well maintained environment
- Maintain a good work relationship with coworkers and management
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Regularly inspect grounds, building and kitchen equipment and systemsPerform self-identified repairs

COMPENSATION: STARTING AT $60,000- $70,000
