We are growing & expanding to our fourth location coming to Ankeny, IA in September 2022!
We are looking for a results driven assistant manager to support the Store Manager and be able to enhance the guest experience, meet sales and profitability goals and help schedule manage staff. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in a bakery environment, guest service, management, or retail management.
Assistant Store Manager responsibilities:
- Understand and follow recipes
- Measuring and combining ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources other equipment to execute recipes
- Ensuring that a high level of guest service is being offered
- Ensuring compliance procedures are being followed for baking, mixing, bakery counter & customer service
- Following company policy & guidance for all HR, training & onboarding protocol
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety & sanitation procedures & regulations
- Reporting on sales trending, guest needs/requests, budget and profit
- Advising subordinates of any updates/procedures, new flavors/recipes & events
- Handling guest issues or complaints while ensuring the guest leaves happy
- Assist the Store Manager in meeting day-to-day goals responsibilities
Assistant Store Manager requirements:
- Prior general management experience is preferred.
- Proficient with a POS system & cash registers
- Good analytical skills
- Effective communication skills
- Able to give direction well & work as part of a team
- High level of organization & detail oriented
