What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Monitor/Aid position at Cool Beans?
At Youth on the Move Inc, it is our priority to pick up and drop off our passengers on time and above all safely at the location they need to be. We specialize in transportation for children, events, groups, and social services. We also have vehicles equipped to provide transportation access to people with disabilities that provide high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Safely secure a carseat with in a vehicle or wheelchair in a van
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients while in the vehcile
- Monitor behavior and enforce vehciel rules
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the all company vehicles
- Communicate with the van driver and office staff regarding any issues or concerns
- Provide a positive and supportive environment for clients during their ride
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
