Job Description
client is looking for an additional experienced OnBase Contractor to support, maintain, and develop additional functionality with OnBase. Contractors must reside in the State of Wisconsin even though the position can be 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- User support and triage of issues, and timely resolution of assigned tickets
- Identifying patterns of tickets to isolate true root cause and propose solutions and/or changes
- Understanding business requirements to achieve OCI’s desired outcomes, while adhering to agency policies and procedures
- Suggesting, and demonstrating, conceptual designs to improve the user experience
- High quality module configuration and design using low-to-no-code approach, with minimal oversight
- Communication of important updates and/or necessary changes to Management, where appropriate
- Recommendation for design improvements to existing solutions
- Standard development environment requirements, to include documentation and task tracking
- Support for other OCI IT team initiatives as needed
Required skills:
- Completed or recently renewed OnBase Certified Workview Developer (OCWV) certification, within the past 4 years
- Building OnBase low-to-no code solutions, following Hyland best practices and design methodology:
- Workview standalone applications
- Workflow standalone lifecycles
- Workflow/Workview combined solutions
- Document Composition templates
- Design thinking – determine and work toward an outcome, not just following a list of steps
- Troubleshooting pre-existing OnBase solutions with minimal existing documentation
- Creating and editing business process and technical documentation
- Working directly with business users to resolve production issues timely and correctly
- Strong communication skills, including verbal (phone/video) and written (email)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and task management skills
- Desire and ability to actively participate in business requirements gathering sessions and technical reviews
Preferred Skills:
- State and/or Local Government work history
- Any CompTIA certifications
- Windows Server administration experience
- IT Service Management (ITIL) certification
- Jira experience (user/and or developer)
- Agile and Waterfall SDLC (and the ability to determine the best approach given a business need)
- Records Retention (the process in general, how it works)
- OnBase Reporting Dashboards experience
- Microsoft Visio experience
- Microsoft SharePoint experience
- Oracle database reporting experience
