Cooper Hotels of Fort Myers Collection is hiring a Sales Manager for Doubletree Fort Myers At the Bell Tower Shops, Homewood Suites Fort Myers, Hilton Garden Inn Fort Myers Airport FGCU, and Homewood Suites Fort Myers Airport FGCU.

The Sales Manager position is responsible for soliciting and booking groups and corporate transient business and be able to drive revenue for the hotels. You will be the face of Cooper Hotels in Fort Myers, as you impress prospective clients who need guestrooms or function space at our properties. Challenge yourself to win the business with your sincere desire to help provide solutions for potential clients and existing clients. Solidify your relationships by conducting site visits and answering questions. Share your talent by preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and providing top notch service for our valued guests. Develop and execute dynamic sales plans and strategies to exceed established revenue sales goals. Build comradery with the various hotel departments to ensure clients are stuffing your email box with rave reviews.

What will I be doing?

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Perform new customer acquisition through research, referrals, networking and sales calls.
  • Solicit, secure and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Consult with returning groups by referencing Delphi to re-book past clients groups.
  • Host and entertain clients, conduct property tours, promote facilities and services and draft contracts
  • Build and maintain customer relationships in order to understand their needs and business priorities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to maintain relationships with current clients and acquire referrals for new clients.
  • Communicate with and provide direction to team members and other departments to address client needs in accurate and timely manner.
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Manage and close business negotiations and contracts with customers.
  • Handle revenue tracking, monitoring, closing, and other related activities as needed.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase revenue targets.
  • Adhere to and enforce the standard operating procedures developed for the sales department

Salary plus Bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
