Human Resources Intern

Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Business Partner, the HR Intern will be responsible for supporting ongoing operations, administrative work, and offering project support as needed for the team.
Essential Functions:
- · Partner in creation and development of an Employee Engagement Committee
- · Partner in the kickoff for Employee Rotational Training
- · Aid in the creation of Action Plans and initiatives based around our annual Gallop Survey
- · Manage the Communication Board in our Manufacturing Facility
- · Assist in the planning, scheduling and activities of the Summer Internship program
- · Co-facilitate Cohort meeting
- · Participate in weekly check-in’s with the summer interns
- · Participate in special projects as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- · Current university student, majoring in Human Resources Management or Psychology, entering their Junior or Senior year (or recent graduate within six months).
- · Strong communication, leadership and project management skills
- · Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- · Experience utilizing Taleo, LinkedIn Recruiter, or other computer tracking systems
- · Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- · Tech-savvy and multi-tasker
