GENERAL FUNCTION
The Sales Operations Coordinator acts as the liaison between the Traditional Channel sales team and all internal departments (Customer Service, Logistics, Planning, Credit, IT, Marketing, Product). The coordinator team is the primary source of communication for 450 sales consultants within the Traditional Sales Team. This individual supports all daily sales team requests and needs, to ensure in field efficiencies and that all internal support is provided to meet the needs of the business effectively.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages incoming and outgoing emails each day for about 70 sales team members for specific regions; 24-48 hour turn-around time
- Supports all incoming phone calls from traveling sales consultants requiring immediate support
- Coordinates and ensures processing of specific requests

- Partners with commercial teams to address and resolve all issues regarding customer billing issues, PO and shipping
- Liaises with credit department to address all credit-related customer issues
- Supports incoming questions and issues relative to the order entry app One Sales Suite
- Receives and enters all personal and free frame prescription orders
- Generates special RA requests based upon Manager needs
- Joins weekly sales team conference calls and works to coordinate resolve of consistent and common issues across the sales team
- Minimum EDI/IDOC support as well as manual order management and processing
- New brand approvals and distribution guideline reinforcement
- Portfolio management
- Liaises between the commercial sales team to work with:
- Supply Chain and Distribution Center to ensure timely shipping of orders.
- Customer Maintenance to update/change/revise any detail to the profile of the customer (ie: bill to/ship to addresses, contact info, billing terms, all specifications of the customer).
- Distribution to open/close new accounts, approval for brands, and saturations to carry lines in specific territories.
- Discount and Commissions Department to ensure customer receives correct discounts as well as billing documents are accurate.
- Inventory Planning to provide current status of sku’s (new, limited editions, obsolete). Performs transfers of inventory and daily/weekly allocations to maximize fill rates of orders. BI to generate weekly/daily/monthly/recurring reports.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 years related work experience
- Strong PC skills; proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Internet
- Must be proficient in excel- intermediate to advanced level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and multi-task with limited supervision as well as works well in a team setting
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal leadership and staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Advanced SAP Skills
- Past experience with retail or buying
- Microsoft Access experience
