Security

We are looking for a vigilant and reliable Security to join our team and ensure the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property during events. Security plays a critical role in maintaining order, responding to security incidents, and creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism

Responsibilities:

Monitoring and Patrolling:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations as they arise.

Access Control

• Control access to the premises by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, packages, and personal belongings to prevent unauthorized items from entering the premises.

Incident Response

• Respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents, disturbances, and security breaches.
• Investigate security-related incidents and document findings in detailed incident reports.
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency response agencies as necessary.

Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
• Assist visitors with directions, inquiries, and requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Serve as a visible deterrent to potential security threats while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.

Emergency Preparedness

• Familiarize yourself with emergency response procedures and protocols.
• Take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and minimize harm during emergencies or crises.

Qualifications:

• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledgeable of safety, security operations, and procedures
• Knowledgeable of state laws and regulations
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Has worked at least one event (Birthday, Wedding, etc.)

Pay:

• Pay is based on the event that is worked. We have events which are a couple of hours to possibly 8 hours. The rate of pay is $20.00 an hour. There are events almost every weekend. We also have events on Sundays, weekdays, mornings, evenings & holidays.
• $20.00 - $22.50/hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
