COPS Monitoring – Northeast US (Williamstown, NJ, Hunt Valley, & MD, Surrounding Areas)
Do you want to be a part of something meaningful? COPS team members help protect the lives and property of millions of people throughout the U.S. Industry’s largest wholesale provider of professional alarm monitoring services for medical, fire, security, and other critical areas. We are seeking a driven B2B SALES professional to join our nationwide team as one of three account executives. In this position, you will have a focus on prospecting and reselling our professional monitoring services (not products) to retail alarm companies in the Northeast market (DE, NJ, NY, PA, DC, MD, VA, WV). We offer a competitive base salary, bonus opportunities, and LIMITLESS UNCAPPED COMMISSIONS!
Initial training will be on-site at our Williamstown, NJ Headquarters. After training you may work in a hybrid capacity (on-site/remote).
Primary duties will include:
- PROSPECTING: Prospect new alarm companies to contract with COPS Monitoring for their alarm monitoring and related services
- DEVELOPMENT: Work with current alarm companies to incentivize them to consolidate existing accounts from competing monitoring companies
- INDUSTRY RELATIONSHIPS: Build and strengthen COPS Monitoring’s relationships with local and state industry-related associations. Attend/Exhibit at trade shows and industry events
- TRAVEL: Periodic overnight travel required (company credit card provided)
Desired Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in outside sales (selling services is a plus)
- A quantifiable record of progressive achievement and success
- An exceptional level of motivation, desire, competitiveness, customer driven focus, time management, multi-tasking, and project management skills
- Proven prospecting, follow-up, and value-added consultative selling skills
- B2B Sales experience involving services
- Strong presentation skills and interpersonal effectiveness
- A strong work ethic and commitment that will allow you to exceed your financial and professional goals
