What are the responsibilities and job description for the Check In Receptionist position at COR Medical Group?
We are a concierge Medical Practice located in the Cedars Sinai Medical Towers looking for a polished professional to join our team. As the Check-In Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring all check in procedures are completed accurately and timely. The Check-In Receptionist is required to provide a high level of professionalism while maintaining discretion of all patient information. Functions of the front office include the following: answering a multi-lined phone system, routing calls and recording messages, verifying and routing pharmacy calls appropriately, and placing office phones on/off exchange. Responsible for all check-in functions to include but not limited to patient registration, questionnaires, insurance collection, verification, and authorizations, patient disclosure forms and chart prepping. Scheduling of patient appointments to include stress echos, echos, pre-op appointments, CIMT, PET scans and ultrasounds. Maintaining medical records and patient recall files. Must be able to understand and explain all office policies and our Concierge program and tiers to new and non-existing members. Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a high-profile medical practice. Must be detailed oriented and have exceptional written communication. Must be punctual and reliable, no exceptions. Pay is commensurate with experience, education and skill set.
