As an Assistant Trainer, you would provide training to the patient service coordinators. In addition to training and supporting the PSC role, you may need to fill in when a clinic is temporarily short staffed in patient services coordinators.
Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has previous customer service experience, enjoys teaching and helping others and takes initiative to get things done.
Responsibilities:
- Learn, perform and teach others the duties of the Patient Services Coordinator position
- Provide training and orientation to all new PSCs on company standards, billing policies and procedures, CPAS, scheduler and all other duties of the PSCs
- Serve as a mentor and resource for all PSCs
- Assists PSC Regional Trainer with interviewing and hiring of PSCs as needed
- Ensure compliance with all front desk and billing related tasks
Qualifications:
- A minimum of high school diploma; an Associate’s degree or certificate is preferred
- Previous customer service experience strongly preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel is required
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- High level of personal integrity, reliability and honesty
- Has ability to travel as needed through local region
