As a Payer Relations Clerk, you will assist in the administrative support of the Payer Relations Department, under the guidance of the Payer Relations Manager, and are responsible for supporting all daily payer relations activities from new hires credentialing, recertification of existing employees and processes for new acquisitions, new and relocations clinics. This is a full-time position.

What You’ll Need
Minimum of High School Diploma
Minimum of two years work experience within a health services organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams and Excel
High level of integrity, initiative and follow-through, with appropriate handling of confidential credentialing data
What You’ll Do
Responsible for all CAQH (re) attestation requests, new location entries, and updating annual professional liability insurance renewals
Responsible for tracking license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals & maintains copies of current state licenses
Audit health plan directories for current and accurate provider information
Timely completion of all Quarterly payer directory reviews
Prepare for distribution all required monthly updates for payers
Responsible for password resets for various payer provider portals
Maintain clinic location spreadsheets by company and by state
Review SureCheck USA and take appropriate action on monthly compliance checks from Office of Inspector General for CMS and Medicaid exclusions
Assist Payer Relations Specialist with provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications as needed
Monitor Credentialing email address for credentialing issues and facilitates follow up with the appropriate Payer Relations Specialist
Assist with uploading payer contracts to shared site
Assist with contract status reviews and maintaining contact status tool
Assist with maintaining issues log for any credentialing issues with payers
Assist with coordinating information shared by Government Payer Relations team and Payer Relations Specialist
Perform any other duties as assigned by Payer Relations Manager
